On the occasion of World Day for Persons with Disabilities (3/12), the Piraeus Group Cultural Foundation (PIOP), in collaboration with Paralympian Kelly Loufakis, the Panchia Association for the Disabled and the Prefectural Sports Association of Persons with Disabilities “IONES”, is organizing the Thursday, December 6 (10:00-12:00), educational activity for 4th, 5th and 6th grade school groups, at the Mastic Museum of Chios.
Students will approach, in an experiential way, issues of communication, movement and access for people with disabilities. The action also includes a fencing game, under the guidance of Kellys Loufakis, a game of boccia and an awareness game for the accessibility of the Museum’s permanent exhibition, using a white cane.
